A service to Tribune, who is one of the few elite sires selected by the 2011 Polocrosse World Cup Australian Management Team, was offered at a public auction at the National Championships in Ballarat. Another ‘feather in the cap’ for this exciting young sire!

Tribune has a proud intelligent head with a big kind eye complimented with a neat, shallow mouth. He is a very well built colt currently standing at 15.2hh, with a strong, sloping shoulder and powerful hind quarter which helps to drive his feet up under him when he moves. His legs are clean, straight and correct with good, solid black feet and he covers the ground with ease displaying an athletic forward moving stride. He is kind colt with a relaxed and easy going nature which makes him a pleasure to handle and just has a genuine respect for people. We are looking forward to a big future for this horse and believe he will be a sire for all performance disciplines.

Tribune’s siblings are proving to be quality sires and also displaying athletic ability and versatility competing successfully across many disciplines. They are impressing many spectators with top cut out wins and their easy going attitudes. His sire ‘Knights Nicholas’, whose by the legendary ‘Warrenbri Romeo’ out of a ‘Comara Topline’ (Abbey) mare, has an outstanding record being a champion in so many different performance fields including winning multi Royal and National Champion sashes in both working and camp-draft events as well as snaffle bit reining. His dam’s side features such super sires as ‘Elliots Creek Cadet’ and ‘Quidong Brigadier’.

Even though Tribune is still young he has a great presence about him, much like his sire. He broke in very kindly and quickly with his smart, sensible nature showing through in his acceptance of everything he was asked to do. Tribune is now in work and will continue his education and we hope to compete him lightly in various disciplines throughout 2010.
This is a colt that certainly has the world at his feet and all the right ingredients not only to be a champion sire, but a champion himself.
