At Qualia we believe in finding the right horse for the job we want done. Our main focus is of course elite performance horses for Polocrosse but our current selection of horses have allowed us to branch out in to other disciplines such as Camp-drafting and Showing as they have displayed the qualities which are proving they can be successful across many fields. We welcome all enquiries on any of the following horses if you are seeking more information about them, or are considering purchasing progeny.

Riom Curlew

ASH Registration No: 182903
Sire: Yarramine Gamble
Dam: Jills Chance
Foaled: 7/10/2004
Height: 15hh
Details:  Curlie is a very confident mare with loads of ability and attitude. She is a natural athlete with a very competitive nature and a very promising future. Her full sister ‘Riom Quail’ won A Grade Champion Pony and Overall Champion Pony at the Foothills Carnival in Nov 08. In April 09 Curlie, at the young age of 4yr, she had an extremely successful International Quadrangular Series with Jodi where she played 2 Open Grade Tournaments for Australia and then was drawn by the South African team who played her as the starting No 3 every game for the Women’s section. Although it was not an ideal situation for her, she had a tough 09 season stepping up to Men’s level and along with Adrian has been selected to represent WA in the Open Mixed Team at the 2010 Nationals. There are not too many horses that have the strength and mental stamina to play at the levels this mare has been asked to recently, she has represented her state and country before reaching 5yrs old!
